Message from Camp Committee (5 Jun)

Dear East Camper,

We are seven days from our East camp! We look forward to having a wonderful four-day-three-night together with the Lord and with one another.

Important reminders:

For those who have not done so, pls download the camp briefing and camp booklet from the East Camp webpage.
If you’re travelling by coach with us, note that we will not be stopping over for meals along the journey. This is to ensure we arrive Malacca on time to have a good and leisurely (late) lunch upon reaching Malacca. So have a hearty breakfast and bring along some snacks/ food with you for the ride.
If you’re making your own way to Malacca, note that the reporting time is 4pm.
There is a slight change to the program on Day 3 (14 Jun). Dinner (instead of lunch) will be catered for all of us at the hotel. So you may make plans for your own lunch on that day.

Prayer

Give thanks that we can set aside time to come for the camp as a body of Christ to learn together, play together, love together, and listen together!
Pray for safety as we travel to Malacca, good weather and Lord’s protection over the camp.
Pray for everyone to stay in the pink of health physically, mentally and spiritually.
Continue to pray for everyone involved in the camp planning to be spiritually sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and have the assured restedness that God is always in control.

Message from Camp Committee (23 May)

Dear East Camper,

It was wonderful to see many of you face to face for the camp briefing on 19 May!

We are sorry to miss some of you who couldn’t make it. Both the briefing slides and camp booklet (different from the hardcopy notebook given out at the briefing) are now ready for download at the East camp webpage. We are 19 days to the camp!

It is important that you read through the briefing notes and camp booklet.

Please note that there is a slight change to the program on Day 3 (14 May). Dinner (instead of lunch) will be catered for all of us at the hotel. So you may make plans for your own lunch on that day.

Preparation

Camps are great opportunities to for us to forge new friendships. It is not every week that we get the chance to interact with people new to us in an unhurried manner. As our church continue to grow in number, we want to grow in our relationships too. So, come prepared to break away from your usual cliques! Take the initiative to talk to someone new to you, maybe someone from another age group!

Participation

Photos help capture memories! Why not take a shot of you and your family, CG or friends preparing to come for the camp? Send in your photo (with caption) to campcovenant.east@cefc.org.sg. Prizes will be given to the three most creative/ meaningful/ fun photos! Remember to tell us your name and contact number.
