Cancer 101 is a session designed specifically for church leaders seeking to support friends and loved ones affected by cancer. As ministry and small group leaders, we often find ourselves supporting those facing a cancer diagnosis. How can we respond with compassion to meet their emotional and spiritual needs?
Come join us and gain invaluable insights into the spiritual and psychosocial challenges that cancer brings, impacting not only patients but also their caregivers:
- Understand how cancer can transform lives, leading to anxiety, doubt, and isolation. Gain a deeper awareness of the emotional and spiritual needs of those in your team and community.
- Discover practical ways to minister to patients and caregivers, with actionable tools that empower you to walk alongside them with comfort and encouragement.
- Learn how cancer impacts body, mind, and spirit, enabling you to offer comprehensive support.
- Equip yourself with specific strategies for emotional and spiritual care, making a significant difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.
Together, we can create a compassionate community where no one faces their cancer journey alone.
