Covenant East will be three years old come November 2019! What started as a journey of about 200 Covenanters has now grown to over 800. Since Covenant EFC is called to be an IDMC, Covenant East will be an IDMC family without walls to creatively and intentionally reach out to the local communities in the East for Christ!
As an IDMC family without walls, it is important for Covenant East to integrate well with the local community in order to serve and reach it for Christ which is our key thrust! Covenant East must arise to its calling to make disciples who will make other disciples who will do the same as well. We must anchor in reproducing authentic disciples of A Certain Kind — the Christ-like and Christ-mastered kind, the kind who will multiply themselves through intentional disciplemaking across all ages and generations, especially the next generation, so that we may win our community and nation for Christ. Personal evangelism, community outreach, prayer, worship, service are natural and consequential outflow of an authentic disciple! Covenant East must be an IDMC, a family of Christ that walks together in authentic discipleship and intentional disciplemaking of A Certain Kind, not simply within the church but strategically outside of its walls within the family, workplace, and local community. We are committed to build such an IDMC family!
