Introduction

Verses 1 to 3 is a picture of deadness, dryness, defilement, disgrace and despair. But God was going to reverse and restore everything!

The journey of being made alive by God:

A. WHAT WE ARE MADE ALIVE BY — THE WORD AND SPIRIT OF GOD (vv.4–10)

B. WHAT WE ARE MADE ALIVE FOR — THE WORK AND KINGDOM OF GOD (vv.9–10)

Conclusion
From valley of death to carpet of gold …!
