Introduction
Battles and prophecies in Daniel 11 are not just historical; they remind us that as history unfolds it is not just a train of events but God is in control because it is HIS-Story and HIS timing.
As people of God, we can take heart because:
A. THE ENEMIES OF THE KINGDOM ARE LIMITED BY GOD’S APPOINTED TIME (11:2-31)
“And as for the two kings, their hearts shall be bent on doing evil…but to no avail, for the end is yet to be at the time appointed.” (v.27)
– Don’t fear the enemy
B. THE PEOPLE OF THE KINGDOM ARE REFINED TILL GOD’S APPOINTED TIME (11:32-12:3)
“…and some of the wise shall stumble, so that they may be refined, purified, and made white, until the time of the end, for it still awaits the appointed time.” (v.35)
– Don’t fear God’s refining work.
