A. THE SABBATH NOURISHES US IN OUR REST

 “A Sabbath of complete rest” (v.3) cf. Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11

B. THE SABBATH GLORIFIES GOD IN OUR WORSHIP

“A sacred assembly … a Sabbath to the Lord” (v.3) cf. Numbers 28:9-10; Exodus 31:16-17 

Conclusion
“The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” (Mk 2:27)
