Introduction

We live in a world where sexual norms are dictated by the world rather than directed by God’s Word.

God’s Word gives two essential principles for sexual holiness and wholeness:

A. SEXUAL HOLINESS IS KEY TO GOD’S BLESSING (Lev 18:1-5)

“You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt … you shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan … You shall not walk in their statutes.” – Leviticus 18:3

B. SEXUAL WHOLENESS IS KEY TO HUMAN FLOURISHING (Lev 18:6-30)

  “So keep my charge never to practice any of these abominable customs that were practiced before you, and never to make yourselves unclean by them: I am the LORD your God.” – Leviticus 18:30

Conclusion
Sexual sin defiles and separates us from God and each other, but Jesus heals and restores us to God and one another.
