What’s the significance of God wanting the Tabernacle?
It shows that: 

A. GOD WANTS TO DWELL AMONG HIS PEOPLE
“… that I may dwell in their midst.” (Exo 25:8)

 

 

B. GOD WANTS TO MEET WITH HIS PEOPLE
“There … I will meet with you” (Exo 25:22)

 

Conclusion
Jesus tabernacled with us. 
God dwells among us and wants to meet with us.
