God’s motherly attributes  

A. HOW THE WORLD SEES MOTHERS: WONDER WOMEN

1. We do not need to be wonder women.   

2. God uses ordinary women. (v.26) 

B. HOW MOTHERS SEE THEMSELVES: WONDERING WOMEN   

1. Fear God, not fear fears.   

2. He is the God of the impossible; no word from God will fail. (v.37)  

C. WHAT GOD REALLY SEEKS: WILLING SERVANTS 

1. “Behold, the bondslave (doule) of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your Word.” (v.38)  

2. “Blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” (v.45)  

Conclusion  
“Behold, the bondslave (doule) of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your Word.”
