Frequently Asked Questions
1) Can I register for TNG Baptism if I am not 13-18 years old?
Unfortunately, TNG Baptism is only catered to youths aged 13 – 18.
Do wait a few more years till you reach the age range to join us on this journey!
2) What are the requirements for me to get Baptised?
You are required to have a minimum 75% attendance (3 out of 4 attendance) in order to be baptised.
This is important because Baptism is more than just an event, it’s a journey!
As such we want to encourage you to not miss any sessions so that you can fully experience this journey as an individual and in your community!
3) Is parental consent required for me to get Baptised?
Yes. Parental consent is required for all TNG Baptism candidates. Please check in with your parents and inform them of your decision to get Baptised as this is a major decision 🙂
4) When can I register for Baptism?
We will announce in service when TNG Baptism Class registration is open.
5) What happens after I sign up to get Baptised?
After indicating your interest, a TNG staff will connect with you and schedule a Baptism interview with you to assess your readiness and prepare you for further steps required for Baptism.
Afterwhich, you will be required to attend the Baptism classes and sessions.
Please note that, registering for TNG Baptism DOES NOT automatically confirm that you will get Baptised.
6) Am I allowed to invite family/friends to witness my Baptism
Yes! Baptism is a public declaration of your faith so inviting family and friends (especially pre-believers) to witness this momentous occassion is highly encouraged!
